Goal

By the end of this unit, participants will understand the principles and practice of searching the literature effectively for evidence-based materials in their subject interests.

Objectives:

1. Participants will be able to select appropriate databases and other resources in their area of interest
2. Participants will be able to search these resources effectively for evidence based information

• Demonstration of how to formulate a search strategy
• Demonstration of databases and other resources appropriate to the group
• Hands-on practice and coaching in a computer lab for searching this literature
